How come the hyperlinks in recalibrate don't open a new tab or browser window?

recalibrate was designed on the Open Berkeley platform, which does not allow this action for accessibility reasons. If you click on a link, it goes to that page in your current browser window.

For a workaround,* try this:
• on PC: hold down control when you click on the hyperlink (new tab will appear automatically).
• on MAC: hold down control when you click on the hyperlink (a list will appear, at top choose "Open Link in New Tab").
• on an iPhone: go to Settings, open your Safari Settings-GENERAL, choose "Open Links" and select "In New Tab."
• on an Android: hold down the link to right-click, and choose "Open in new tab."

As you discover and explore the resources on recalibrate, we suggest that you bookmark all of the links you find useful in a designated folder so you can return to them quickly.

*These solutions may vary depending on your actual browser preferences and settings.

You offer a lot of resources, but I still didn't find what I was looking for. Can you help?

We're always interested in challenges that weren't quite covered here. Please let us know through our feedback form and we'll try and research it. If there's an appropriate discovery, we'll consider adding it to our collection in the next update.

How often will you update the site?

We aim to make updates before the beginning of each semester of the school year. We will consider your thoughts through our feedback form, special cases through email, and suggestions put forth from our recalibrate advisory committee and from campus departments.

recalibrate helped me find the wellness resource I was looking for! How can I tell my story?

That's awesome! And we would love to hear about it. If you discovered something you never knew about until you got to recalibrate, or want to talk about how you got your problem solved efficiently or memorably during your visit to our site, chances are there are others in the community who can benefit from your experience. For a limited time, we'll offer a little token of our appreciation to those who share their feel-good story.

How do I give feedback?

Please use our feedback form to voice your thoughts and opinions. Your answers will help us know what the community needs and will give us insight on ways to improve our offering. You can also let us know of any technical aspects we should check out, like (unintentional) misspellings or broken links. Of course, you can always give us a thumbs up or high five—knowing we're doing things right helps keep us going, too!

You can also contact us at recalibrate@berkeley.edu. We will respond to you as quickly as possible, usually within 2 business days.
